1. How do we collect and use your personal information

You can use this APP to connect, set up, and manage your "Xinbaijie" brand printer, and independently choose the functions or services to use based on the actual product. Based on the products and services you choose to use, we will collect and use the following information and data from your mobile device, while adhering to the basic principles of personal information protection:


(1) To fulfill the basic services, we will collect the following necessary information based on the services you choose:

1. We will collect your printer information (printer's AP name, AP password, connected Wi-Fi, and local area network IP address) for connecting the printer device and configuring the network, in order to support printing;

2. We will collect your print job information (number of prints, paper size, print medium) to assist the printer in recognizing the print data and completing the printing process;

3. We will collect your scanning job information (scanning source, color, resolution, size, scanned image data) to assist the printer in recognizing the scanning data and completing the scanning job;

4. We will collect your fax job information (fax quality, size, contact list, and fax number) to assist the printer in recognizing the fax data and completing the fax job;

5. Device access permissions. To assist you in achieving basic functionalities, we may request certain device permissions. The permissions required for different systems may vary. For detailed descriptions of the permissions involved in each system and the purposes of requesting these permissions, please refer to Annex 1, "Device Access Permission Directory". You can choose to disable permissions in the device settings at any time (the display and disable methods of permissions may differ across different devices).


If you refuse to provide the above information, it will not affect your ability to continue browsing this app. However, we will be unable to provide you with the corresponding professional services. Without your consent, we will not use your personal information and data for purposes other than those stated.


Note that the above usage methods cover the main ways we use your information. When we intend to use the information for purposes not specified in this agreement, or to use information collected for a specific purpose for other purposes, we will seek your consent again through signing an agreement, pop-up prompts, or other means.


II. How do we store your personal information


1. Storage location

When you perform basic printing, scanning, and faxing solely through this app, the information and data we collect will be automatically stored on your mobile device. When you share documents or images to this app via a third-party application, you agree to our retrieval and storage of the documents and images you intend to manipulate.


2. Storage time

We will store your personal information for the minimum period required for the purposes stated in this policy, unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations, or unless you grant us additional authorization to extend the retention period. If your personal information exceeds the storage period and there is no legal requirement for us to continue processing your specific personal information, we will delete your personal information in accordance with applicable legal requirements.


The indicators we use to determine the storage duration include:

(2) When judicial or administrative authorities request this APP to disclose personal information in accordance with legal procedures and statutory powers, we will provide the relevant information in accordance with the law. This APP shall be exempted from liability for any disclosure in such circumstances;

(3) This APP shall not be held responsible for any leakage, loss, theft, or tampering of personal information resulting from users disclosing their personal passwords to others or sharing registered accounts with others;


We have utilized third-party software development kit (SDK) services in our APP, adhering to the principles of legality, propriety, minimal necessity, and clear purpose. For specific details, please refer to Annex 2, "Third-party SDK Directory". Please note that third-party SDKs have their own privacy policies regarding the handling of personal information. We recommend that you read the relevant privacy policies before accepting third-party SDK services to understand how the SDK processes personal information.


2. Unless otherwise explicitly stated, we have not entrusted any third-party companies, organizations, or individuals to handle your personal information.

3. Except for the following circumstances, we will not transfer your personal information to any company, organization, or individual:

(1) With your explicit consent in advance;

(2) Those that must be transferred externally according to laws and regulations, or compulsory requirements of government authorities or judicial organs;

(3) When it comes to transactions such as mergers, divisions, dissolutions, asset or business transfers, bankruptcy liquidation, or similar ones involving your personal information transfer, we will require the new company, organization, or individual holding your personal information to continue to be bound by this policy. 1. Our products and services are primarily targeted at adults. Without the consent of parents or legal guardians, we will not intentionally collect personal information from minors under the age of 14 (or the equivalent minimum age specified in relevant jurisdictions), and this APP is not intended for minors under the age of 14 (or the equivalent minimum age specified in relevant jurisdictions);

2. If you are a minor under the age of 14, please refrain from providing any personal information through this product;

3. If we receive personal information submitted through this product by minors under the age of 14, we will immediately take measures to delete that information.


VI. How do we safeguard your right to access information

Unless otherwise stipulated by law, as an individual user, you have the right to access your personal information. You can do so on your own through the following methods:

1. After logging into the APP client and connecting to the printer through the interface, you can click on "Documents" or "Historical Scanning Records" to view your relevant job information.

2. You can submit an application to inquire about your personal information to us by sending an email to [service@cmjljd.com]. After verifying your identity (to ensure the security of your account or information), we will respond to your application promptly within a reasonable timeframe, depending on the complexity of the information you are seeking and industry standards for information inquiry.

3. In principle, you do not need to pay any fees for applying to inquire about your personal information. However, for repeated inquiry requests made more than three times within three months, we will charge a certain cost depending on the situation.


VII. How can we correct your personal information

When you find errors in the personal information we have collected about you, you have the right to request us to make corrections. You can submit a correction request to us by sending an email to [service@cmjljd.com](mailto:service@cmjljd.com). We will respond to your correction request within 15 working days.


VIII. How do we delete the personal information we have collected

1. You can delete the information collected during the service usage process through the following methods

1) On my homepage, navigate to "Document Printing" > "Local Documents" > "Documents Imported from Other Applications". Select the file you wish to delete and click the "Delete" button.

2) On my homepage, navigate to "Document Printing" > "Local Documents" > "Scanned Documents". Select the file you wish to delete and click the "Delete" button.

3) In the "Personal Center" > "History" > "Print Record" interface, select the file you want to delete, and then click the "Delete" button.

4) In the "Personal Center" > "History" > "Scan Record" interface, select the file you want to delete, and then click the "Delete" button.

Note: When deleting documents from "Documents Imported from Other Apps", the corresponding document information in "Print Records" will also be deleted. (Deleting documents from "Scanned Documents" will simultaneously delete the corresponding document information in "Scan Records")


2. Delete the file information and data stored in the APP

Uninstalling the app directly will automatically delete all collected data, except for the photos taken and scanned documents saved during the printing, scanning, and faxing processes.


3. Log out user

This app currently does not have a registered user feature. If there are any changes in the future, we will promptly update and inform you of the cancellation method and its impact.


4. If any of the following situations occur, you can request us to delete your personal information by sending an email to (service@cmjljd.com):

·If you believe that our handling of your personal information violates relevant laws and regulations;

·If you believe that we have processed your information without your consent;

·If we handle your personal information in violation of our agreement with you;

·If you log out of your account or refuse to use our products;

Upon receiving your email requesting the deletion of personal information, we promise to take corresponding actions within 15 working days. Please note that if we are legally required to retain such information, we are still obligated to do so even if you request us to delete your personal information;


4. We may regularly review the data we hold and unilaterally delete any information that we determine is no longer necessary for providing services to you.


IX. How do we safeguard your right to change the scope of authorized consent

We fully guarantee your right to withdraw your authorization consent for the collection and use of personal information. For personal information we have collected based on your consent, you can withdraw or change your authorization consent at any time. When you choose to withdraw your consent, we will no longer process the personal information corresponding to that authorization, and we will also be unable to provide you with the functional services corresponding to the authorization.


The specific operational steps are as follows:

1. You can change the system permission authorization through your phone settings;

In accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations, we store your personal information collected within China within the territory of the People's Republic of China. Currently, we will not use, store, share, or disclose your personal information in cross-border business, nor will we transmit your personal information outside China. If the content of our services changes in the future and we need to conduct cross-border transmission of your personal information, we will do so only after obtaining your consent and meeting other conditions stipulated by laws, administrative regulations, or the national cyberspace administration.
